The service

RealityDrop is a free daily geo-guessing game about reality television. We may change, pause, or retire the service at any time. Some features (bonus clues, streak rewards, badges, the leaderboard) are only available to signed-in players.

Your account

You can sign in with Google, Apple, or an email magic link. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. Don't share your account, don't attempt to impersonate someone else, and don't create accounts for others without their permission. You must be at least 13 years old to use RealityDrop.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Scrape, crawl, or automate play in a way that disrupts the game for others.
• Attempt to break, probe, or reverse-engineer our systems.
• Use RealityDrop to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content.
• Pick a display name that's abusive, obscene, impersonates another person, or infringes intellectual-property rights. We may change or reset a display name that breaks this rule.
• Use the service to harass, threaten, or dox other players.

Content and ownership

The RealityDrop name, wordmark, questions, clues, artwork, and code belong to us. You may share your scores and results socially; you may not republish our questions or clues as your own content.

Reality-TV names, show titles, and place names referenced in clues are the property of their respective owners. RealityDrop is unaffiliated with any television network or production company; references are used editorially.

Your gameplay history — the guesses you make, the scores you earn — is yours. We display leaderboard entries (display name, score, streak) publicly.

Copyright

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used inappropriately, contact us at the address below with a description of the work and where it appears. We'll investigate and act as appropriate under applicable law.

Disclaimers

RealityDrop is provided "as is," with no warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uptime, that clues will be accurate, that scoring will be error-free, or that the service is fit for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You can stop using RealityDrop and delete your account at any time. We can terminate or suspend your access if you break these terms. Sections that should reasonably survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability) do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction. If you live somewhere with different mandatory local consumer protections, those still apply.

Changes

If we materially change these terms we'll update the effective date at the top and, when appropriate, notify signed-in players by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
